Waters Corporation is seeking a dynamic contributor to fill the role of a Sr MS Sales Development Specialist in their Biologics business. This role will drive the sales of products in the Mass Spectrometry portfolio and act as a sales specialist for related software, focusing on identifying and converting sales opportunities while collaborating with account managers and marketing teams.
Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed sales targets for MS product portfolio
- Maintain installed-base customer satisfaction including post-sales training as needed (i.e., SW)
- Purposefully develop new prospects and penetrate competitive accounts
- Visit customers daily to highlight Waters solutions and help customers with any technical obstacles in their way
- Build technical competency on Waters solution and to be perceived by customers as a credible resource
- Maintain current knowledge on vertical markets dynamics, application trends, and other critical business information
- Provide information to marketing team to create business development programs
- Maintain CRM and full leverage sales tools and applications
- Submit accurate and timely monthly sales forecasts
- Develop business through monthly plan of action
Requirements:
- Minimum of Bachelors Degree in scientific area such as chemistry, biology, or biochemistry
- 5+ years mass spectrometry experience including related SW solutions
- Committed and eager to achieve results
- Sound communication and presentation skills
- Highly organized / well-prepared / time management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and a good listener
- Matured disposition, positive attitude and strong sense of dedication
- Adaptive to a dynamic and ever-changing environment
- Strong technical background in analytical technologies, especially MS
- Overnight travel is required
- Mass spectrometry field sales and/or marketing experience is a plus
