Saama is looking for a Senior Business Analyst with expertise in the insurance domain. The role involves analyzing actuarial reports, performing quality assurance testing, and coordinating user testing and signoff.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze existing (mostly Excel+SQL**) actuarial reports /measures** and instruct developers on how to replace these reports within our Segment Data Warehouse. This may include:
- Clarification on key calculations and analysis of the underlying data
- In some circumstances, development of requirements documentation and acceptance criteria
- Perform Quality Assurance (QA) testing to validate that new reports/measures meet requirements. This may include:
- Validation that the data the report produces matches the expected results
- Assistance with troubleshooting issues through data analysis
- Coordinate and own User Testing and Signoff
- Responsible for coordination of acceptance testing through signoff
Requirements:
- Experience analyzing existing actuarial reports/measures
- Ability to instruct developers on report replacement within Segment Data Warehouse
- Clarification on key calculations and analysis of underlying data
- Development of requirements documentation and acceptance criteria
- Perform Quality Assurance (QA) testing to validate new reports/measures
