Exigent Services LLC is a dynamic 8(a) Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business seeking a Business Development Proposal Capture Manager. The role is crucial in driving growth by identifying strategic opportunities, developing capture strategies, executing proposals, and engaging with customers in the government contracting market.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute capture strategies for federal and defense opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, industry partners, and prime contractors to enhance market penetration and growth
- Lead market research efforts to identify, qualify, and pursue relevant contracting opportunities
- Provide leadership, feedback, and, when necessary, oversight in proposal development, including identifying key themes, meeting compliance requirements, and developing pricing strategies
- Analyze competitor positioning and industry trends to inform business development strategies
- Collaborate with internal teams to align capture efforts with company capabilities and objectives
- Ensure compliance with all government regulations and procurement policies related to federal contracting
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Government Contracting, or a related field (preferred)
- Proven experience supporting business development and deep knowledge of GSA and DoD procurement processes, including acquisition strategies and contract vehicles
- The ability to share a redacted copy of your written work on a Capture and/or Shipley proposal document
- Strong network and relationships, and processes within the Department of Defense (DoD) and GSA communities
- Capture management expertise within federal contracting, preferably in an 8(a) SDVOSB environment
- Experience leading proposal development efforts, including responding to RFPs, RFIs, and government solicitations
- Understanding of small business regulations, including 8(a) program requirements and SDVOSB contracting advantages
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Experience with GSA schedules, IDIQ contracts, and task order capture
- Strong network, relationships, and procurement processes within the Navy Branch of the Military
- Previous experience working with DoD agencies and federal contract offices
- Background in government procurement policies and FAR compliance
- Ability to travel as needed for business development and networking
