Forward Deployed Engineer - Integrations

Colossus Technologies Group is partnering with a well-funded AI infrastructure startup that's solving significant problems in enterprise software. The Forward Deployed Engineer will work closely with strategic customers to design, build, and troubleshoot production AI systems while influencing product development.

Responsibilities:

• Own enterprise deployments from technical discovery through production
• Design architectures for complex AI and agent-based workflows
• Build customer-facing integrations, MCP servers, and platform extensions
• Debug challenging production issues across distributed systems and AI infrastructure
• Partner directly with customer engineering teams during implementation
• Influence core product direction by turning customer challenges into platform capabilities
• Help establish the technical standards, tooling, and playbooks for the company's Forward Deployed Engineering organization

Requirements:

• 5+ years building production software
• Experience in Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Consulting Engineering, or highly customer-facing software engineering
• Strong Python or TypeScript development experience
• Experience deploying LLMs, AI agents, or modern AI infrastructure into production
• Comfortable working directly with enterprise engineering teams
• Strong systems thinking with the ability to debug complex distributed environments
• Ability to move comfortably between writing production code, designing architecture, and leading technical customer conversations
