LifeStance Health is dedicated to improving mental health care access for individuals and communities. The Project Manager, Clinical Strategy will drive the execution of clinical and enterprise strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and effective implementation across cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Lead clinical strategy initiatives from initiation through implementation and sustainability, including scope definition, resource allocation, planning, timelines, deliverables, and successful implementation
- Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, decision logs, and communication plans to ensure on-time delivery
- Coordinate project teams, facilitate meetings, and ensure accountability for deliverables
- Track progress against timelines and goals, identifying dependencies and risks, driving proactive problem-solving and escalation
- Provide regular status updates to executive and operational leadership
- Facilitate change management activities to ensure successful adoption of new processes
- Support the establishment and management of project governance structures, including status updates, decision forums, and escalation pathways
- Prepare regular reporting and dashboards to provide visibility into progress, risks, and outcomes
- Ensure projects maintain alignment with CMO priorities and enterprise strategy
- Coordinate across Clinical Operations, Quality, Research, IT, and other support teams to align stakeholders and drive implementation
- Facilitate meetings, working sessions, and decision-making discussions to maintain momentum
- Ensure clear communication and accountability across matrixed teams
- Maintain project documentation, meeting minutes, action plans and status reports
- Partner with Clinical Operations and clinical leaders to ensure initiatives are practical, scalable, and implementable
- Support rollout of clinical programs, tools, and process improvements
- Assist with change management, including training coordination, communication, and adoption tracking
- Analyze operational and clinical data to inform recommendations and decision-making
- Identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency and reduce variation using continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)
- Lead process mapping, root cause analysis, and performance improvement initiatives
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and execution discipline
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, public health, or related field
- 4–7 years of experience in project management, healthcare operations, consulting, or related roles
- Excellent project planning, organization, and prioritization skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort operating in ambiguity with a bias toward action
- Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional projects from concept through implementation
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills and ability to influence without direct authority
- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States

- Experience in behavioral health or healthcare delivery settings
- Experience supporting clinical initiatives or clinical operations teams
- Familiarity with project management frameworks or tools
- Exposure to quality improvement or process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)
