Founding Full Stack Software Engineer (Equity)

OrbiWorlds is developing a complete online ecosystem where players can create, share, and experience virtual worlds. They are looking for a founding full-stack engineer to help build and expand the web platform alongside the core engine team.

Responsibilities:

• Frontend and backend platform development
• User authentication and account systems
• APIs and backend services
• Database design and optimization
• Marketplace and creator features
• Social systems including friends, messaging, and notifications
• Performance, scalability, and security

Requirements:

• Backend development experience (PHP, Node.js, or similar)
• SQL database experience
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a startup environment
• Experience with modern frontend development (React or similar frameworks preferred)
