The role involves preparing and prosecuting complex patents while collaborating with a team of engineers and scientists, with opportunities for growth in technology protection responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation and prosecution of complex patents
• Interacting with engineers and scientists
• Portfolio responsibility dependent upon experience and technical expertise
• Dealing with technology protection aspects such as due diligence, patent portfolio strategy, enforcement and licensing issues
• Working closely with internal researchers and patent professionals

Requirements:

• B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in engineering or physics
• USPTO license
• At least 4 years of solid patent preparation and prosecution experience
