SQL Business Analyst

Diverse Lynx is seeking a SQL Business Analyst to analyze new datasets, identify trends and insights, and support early monitoring initiatives. The ideal candidate will leverage SQL and data analysis skills to translate data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze datasets using SQL, Excel, Power BI, and existing dashboards
• Identify trends, anomalies, and potential business risks/opportunities
• Explore and understand data related to business workflows and operations
• Create reports, dashboards, and monitoring views for stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and gain access to relevant data sources
• Translate data findings into clear business insights and recommendations

Requirements:

• Strong SQL skills
• Business Analysis and Data Analysis experience
• Proficiency in Excel and Power BI
• Trend analysis and insight generation
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to work in ambiguous and evolving environments
• Experience interpreting data from a business and operational perspective
• Experience working with large enterprise datasets
• Exposure to data governance and data quality practices
• Ability to bridge technical and non-technical teams effectively
