Applicantz is a company looking for a Workday Product Owner / Business Systems Analyst with expertise in Workday HCM and Recruiting. This role involves partnering with stakeholders to optimize Workday processes, manage enhancements, and lead release activities.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary liaison between Talent Acquisition, People Services, and technical support teams
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into functional solutions
- Own and manage the product backlog, prioritize enhancements, and drive delivery of business value
- Lead Workday bi-annual release management activities, including impact assessments, testing coordination, and deployment readiness
- Develop release communications and training materials for stakeholders and end users
- Identify opportunities to streamline HR and recruiting processes through system enhancements
- Ensure Workday configurations align with business objectives, compliance requirements, and industry best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing system improvements and project initiatives
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience supporting Workday HCM
- Experience working as a Product Owner, Business Systems Analyst, or similar functional role
- Strong understanding of Talent Acquisition, Recruiting, and HR business processes
- Experience managing Workday releases, testing cycles, and change management activities
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and project coordination skills
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Airtable, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Active Workday Certifications in HCM and Recruiting preferred
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale Workday implementations and enhancements
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Strong background in release planning, user acceptance testing (UAT), and process optimization
