Senior Business Analyst (Insurance Domain)

Ahura Workforce Solutions is a leader in AI enabled SaaS products and solutions with a focus in the life sciences and insurance domain. They are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to analyze existing actuarial reports and instruct developers on replacing these reports within their Segment Data Warehouse, while also performing Quality Assurance testing to validate new reports.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze existing (mostly Excel+SQL ) actuarial reports /measures and instruct developers on how to replace these reports within our Segment Data Warehouse. This may include:
• Clarification on key calculations and analysis of the underlying data
• In some circumstances, development of requirements documentation and acceptance criteria
• Perform Quality Assurance (QA) testing to validate that new reports/measures meet requirements
• This may include:
• Validation that the data the report produces matches the expected results
• Assistance with troubleshooting issues through data analysis
• Coordinate and own User Testing and Signoff
• Responsible for coordination of acceptance testing through signoff

Requirements:

• Prior knowledge and experience with reinsurance, actuarial/reserving reporting processes
• Ability to quickly understand firm's calculations, data and processes
• Bachelors or Masters in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field
