Senior Software Engineer

Added Innovation is a values-driven technology consulting firm that partners with large, mission-focused non-profit associations to solve complex technical challenges. They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer who can design and engineer solutions independently while mentoring others and working directly with clients.

Responsibilities:

• Design, engineer, and implement software solutions independently
• Lead development efforts across multiple client projects
• Work hands-on with full-stack technologies including C#, ASP.NET (Web Forms and MVC), SQL Server, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Maintain and modernize legacy systems, including Web Forms applications and SOAP APIs
• Make architectural and design decisions with performance, security, and maintainability in mind
• Accurately estimate work and communicate risks and tradeoffs
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues
• Mentor Software Engineers and provide technical guidance
• Communicate directly with clients in 1-on-1 settings

Requirements:

• 6+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong full-stack development experience in production environments
• Deep experience with: C#
• Deep experience with: ASP.NET Web Forms and MVC
• Deep experience with: SQL Server
• Deep experience with: JavaScript and jQuery
• Willingness to work in and improve legacy systems
• Proven ability to design and engineer solutions independently
• Strong estimation and ownership skills
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to adapt quickly across multiple clients, projects, and priorities
• High emotional intelligence, humility, and self-awareness
• Experience mentoring junior or mid-level engineers

• Azure infrastructure design experience
• Advanced Azure DevOps usage
• Microsoft, SQL Server, Azure, or cloud certifications
