FAST Business Analyst

BankUnited, a top-tier Management & Strategy Consulting firm, is seeking a FAST Business Analyst to support the implementation and enhancement of the FAST insurance platform. The role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure the platform aligns with insurance carrier operations and leading initiatives for process improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support FAST platform implementation and configuration for insurance carrier clients
• Facilitate design sessions and requirement gathering to align business needs with platform capabilities
• Collaborate with business, IT, actuarial, and operations teams to define project objectives and deliver solutions
• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency
• Serve as a key liaison between stakeholders, product owners, and project teams
• Lead or support testing activities including UAT and validation of system functionality
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to strategic planning and project delivery initiatives

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis or consulting within Agile technology environments
• Experience working with insurance platforms or insurance carrier systems (FAST preferred)
• Strong understanding of life insurance and annuity products and policy lifecycle processes
• Proficiency with SQL, Excel, Tableau, Jira, and Confluence
• Experience analyzing data, XML files, and system logs to troubleshoot and validate business processes
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• LOMA certification or advanced degree a plus
