Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions is a global leader in industrial automation and digital transformation software. They are seeking a strategic and hands-on Product Marketing Manager to own the platform-level positioning and go-to-market strategy for the GENESIS automation platform, collaborating with various teams to ensure clear and compelling messaging.
Responsibilities:
- Own and continuously refine product messaging, positioning, and value propositions for the GENESIS platform
- Translate technical capabilities into customer-centric benefits for target industries, personas, and buying centers
- Develop message architecture and core platform narratives that can be adapted by solution, industry, and vertical marketing teams
- Maintain clear competitive differentiation and articulate where the platform wins and why
- Support go-to-market strategies for platform releases, solutions, modules, and strategic initiatives
- Define launch objectives, target audiences, positioning, competitive differentiation, and success metrics in partnership with Product Management and Sales
- Coordinate cross-functional launch readiness across Product, Sales, Marketing, Customer-facing teams, and partners
- Ensure platform messaging remains consistent across launches, geographies, channels, and customer interactions
- Create sales tools, presentations, battlecards, value frameworks, and training materials to support the sales cycle
- Partner with sales teams on strategic opportunities and complex enterprise deals to help articulate platform value and differentiation
- Identify gaps and opportunities in messaging, proof points, and collateral that improve commercial effectiveness
- Conduct market and competitive research to inform platform strategy, prioritization, and differentiation
- Gather feedback from customers, partners, and internal teams to sharpen messaging and inform product and go-to-market decisions
- Support win/loss learning, reference development, and customer outcome capture to strengthen market credibility
- Act as the bridge between Product, Sales, Marketing, and Industry teams for the GENESIS platform story
- Provide the baseline platform messaging used by solution, industry, and vertical marketing teams to adapt for specific markets and use cases
- Partner with marketing teams to ensure campaign and content execution accurately reflect intended positioning without directly owning campaign deployment or marketing operations
- Track and interpret performance indicators such as pipeline influence, win rates, launch effectiveness, and adoption signals
- Use market feedback and business performance insights to recommend messaging, positioning, and launch-readiness improvements
Requirements:
- 5–10 years of experience in product marketing, solution marketing, or related B2B software roles, preferably in industrial automation, SCADA, HMI, IIoT, or OT/IT systems
- Proven experience supporting enterprise software launches, product positioning, and complex sales cycles
- Strong understanding of industrial platforms, industrial protocols, and operational environments
- Excellent communication, storytelling, stakeholder management, and analytical skills
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Marketing, Customer-facing teams, and partners
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
- Experience with industrial software platforms such as SCADA, HMI, IIoT, or related automation technologies
- Familiarity with cloud-based software platforms, cybersecurity considerations in industrial environments, and digital transformation trends
- Comfort interpreting pipeline, win/loss, and adoption data in partnership with Sales and Marketing Operations
- MBA or advanced degree is a plus
