BUSINESS ANALYST (CA)

OCHIN, Inc. is a rapidly growing national nonprofit health IT organization focused on transforming health care delivery to drive health equity. The Business Analyst will support OCHIN’s mission by coordinating and delivering integrated products and services, ensuring successful implementations and stakeholder alignment while driving process improvements and supporting strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate assigned projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and quality standards are met. Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain momentum
• Gather, document, and translate business and technical requirements into clear, actionable plans for implementation teams. Assess impacts of proposed changes and provide recommendations that support operational efficiency and member success
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, external vendors, and member organizations to align on project goals, expectations, and outcomes. Facilitate effective meetings, maintain transparent communication, and produce clear project documentation
• Evaluate workflows and operational processes to identify opportunities for improvement. Lead or contribute to initiatives that streamline operations, enhance system functionality, and improve service delivery
• Provide subject matter expertise on supported products and systems. Share knowledge with colleagues, mentor less experienced team members, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and professional growth

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in data analytics or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Healthcare, Healthcare IT, Project Coordinator, or Business Analyst role
• Experience creating and training workflows and communicating between teams and customers
• Ability to create documentation tools that are usable for audiences in support of a product
• Superb attention to detail and a rigorous focus on delivering quality output by documenting findings
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to speak knowledgeably with members of both the business, technology, and leadership teams
• Strong time management and organization skills
• Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize and clearly communicate findings of analysis into presentations
• Strong teamwork, interpersonal, relationship, and collaboration skills
• Adaptable and capable of working in fast-paced environments
• Desire to take ownership, be creative with problem solving, and pro-actively secure the objectives of the business
• May be required to travel up to 10%
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
• Master's degree
• Experience project managing including presenting/meetings, communications, and tracking progress from beginning to end
• Working knowledge of Epic applications and workflows
