Medlaunch Concepts is building a transformative healthcare accreditation platform that revolutionizes hospital compliance and quality improvement. They are seeking a Technical Project Management Intern to coordinate technical projects, manage deliverables, and collaborate with engineering and product teams in a fast-paced startup environment.
Responsibilities:
- Own the coordination of features from scoping through delivery, working with engineering, AI, and data teams to define milestones, dependencies, and acceptance criteria
- Track and synthesize outputs from university research partnerships and translate findings into actionable product requirements
- Manage exploratory workstreams (e.g., NLP pipelines, graph-based analytics, agentic AI workflows) and ensure they converge toward production-ready deliverables
- Maintain project boards, sprint plans, and roadmap artifacts across Jira and Confluence
- Run standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives for assigned teams
- Identify blockers early, escalate appropriately, and drive resolution
- Maintain tight deadline structures to ensure teams meet deliverables and roadmap commitments on schedule
- Produce clear status updates and progress reports for leadership
- Break down complex technical initiatives into well-scoped tickets with clear ownership, acceptance criteria, and priority
- Distribute work across backend, frontend, AI/ML, and data engineering teams based on capacity and expertise
- Coordinate cross-team dependencies—ensuring handoffs between services (e.g., API endpoints, database migrations, AI model integrations) happen cleanly
- Serve as the primary coordination point between engineering teams and product/business stakeholders
- Translate technical constraints and trade-offs into language that non-technical stakeholders can act on
- Manage expectations around timelines, scope, and deliverables for both internal leadership and external partners
- Support preparation of materials for partner calls, demos, and milestone reviews
Requirements:
- Critical thinking and Problem solving skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Working familiarity with software development lifecycles and agile/scrum methodologies
- Comfort reading and navigating technical systems (you don't need to write production code, but you need to understand what's being built)
- Ability to work collaboratively across specialized teams with separated responsibilities
- Passion for structured execution in fast-moving environments
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects or coordinate teams in a technical environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Notion, or equivalent)
- Git literacy—ability to navigate repositories, understand branching strategies, and review PR workflows
- Understanding of agile development workflows
- Experience running or participating in sprint-based development cycles
- Ability to create and maintain project documentation (PRDs, status reports, dependency maps)
- Comfort working across multiple concurrent workstreams with competing priorities
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar project management tooling
- Exposure to any part of our tech stack: Node.js/TypeScript, MongoDB, AWS (Lambda, S3, Bedrock), or agentic AI frameworks (tool calls, MCP servers)
- Understanding of SQL vs. NoSQL data models and when each applies
- Previous experience in healthcare, regulated industries, or compliance-driven environments
- Experience coordinating across distributed or remote teams
- Healthcare or regulated industry experience
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA)
- Experience with data pipeline coordination or ML model deployment workflows
- Understanding of multi-tenant SaaS architecture concepts
- Exposure to agentic AI tools like Claude Code or MCP-based development workflows
