Alternative Delivery Design Manager - West Region

Dewberry is a leading, market-facing professional services firm with more than 60 locations and 2,500 professionals nationwide. They are seeking an Alternative Delivery Design Manager for their West region to manage Transportation Alternative Delivery projects and lead a project design and delivery team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of Transportation Alternative Delivery projects, including scope, budget, and schedule ensuring successful completion of projects
• Lead and manage support staff and document production
• Develop and maintain client relations with local design-build contractors and design teaming partners
• Participate in business development activities including collaborating with our team in the marketing of new projects, proposal preparation, teaming arrangements and client relationship management
• Interface regularly with WashDOT and/or Municipal/County clients

Requirements:

• BS degree in Civil/Transportation Engineering
• 15+ years of progressive experience working on transportation infrastructure projects
• 10+ years of experience as a Design Manager delivering alternative delivery and design-build projects
• Washington or California PE license required
• Knowledge of design-build teaming and professional services agreements
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong leadership and project management skills
• Effective client management skills
• SE license preferred
