Supplier Development Engineer - Casting and Forging, South Bend IN, or Honeywell approved site, or Remote

Honeywell Aerospace is a leading software-industrial company focused on developing technologies that address critical global challenges. They are seeking a Senior Supplier Development Engineer to lead advanced manufacturing operations, drive operational excellence, and implement manufacturing strategies within their casting and forging supply chain.

Responsibilities:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
• Extensive experience in advanced manufacturing engineering and process optimization with 3+ years of experience working in casting manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of advanced manufacturing technologies, such as automation, robotics, and additive manufacturing
• Proven track record of driving operational excellence and process improvements
• Excellent leadership and people management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• Must have experience working with, Investment casting Sand casting Single crystal Directionally solidified Equifax Ceramic core Permanent mold Inconel
• Must have deep knowledge of investment casting and the associated manufacturing processes

Requirements:

• Must have experience working with Investment casting, Sand casting, Single crystal, Directionally solidified, Equifax, Ceramic core, Permanent mold, Inconel
• Must have deep knowledge of investment casting and the associated manufacturing processes
• 50% travel is required for this role
• Master's or Ph.D. degree in Engineering or related field
• 10+ years of manufacturing experience in castings (sand, investment, fine grain, cored, aluminum, magnesium, Inconel, stainless steel, iron, titanium, etc)
• Tier 1 or 2 aerospace, industrial gas turbine or automotive supply chain experience
• Expertise in implementing advanced manufacturing technologies and processes
• Ability to think strategically and drive change in a dynamic environment
• Strong project management skills
• Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in advanced manufacturing
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
• Ability to mentor and develop junior engineers
