Confidential Hyperscale Data Center Developer is one of the fastest-growing hyperscale data centre platforms in North America. They are seeking a Lead Mechanical Reliability Engineer to take ownership of mechanical reliability across a portfolio exceeding 4 GW of critical infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Lead advanced forensic investigations and root cause analyses on critical mechanical and cooling system failures
- Influence future data centre designs by turning operational lessons learned into fleet-wide engineering standards
- Drive mechanical reliability strategy across hyperscale campuses throughout the US
- Review designs, construction documents and new technologies to improve uptime, maintainability and scalability
- Partner with executive leadership on reliability initiatives supporting one of the industry's most ambitious growth programmes
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience within data centres, mission critical facilities or large-scale industrial infrastructure
- Deep expertise across chilled water systems, hydronic loops, chiller plants, CRAHs, CRACs, AHUs and CDUs
- Strong background in failure analysis, root cause investigations and reliability engineering
- Experience influencing engineering standards across multi-site operations
