ShipMonk is a technology-driven company revolutionizing ecommerce fulfillment, looking for an ambitious Product Marketing Manager to drive product-led growth. The role involves serving as a bridge between Product, Sales, Customer Experience, and Marketing teams, owning product marketing strategy and execution.
Responsibilities:
- Own GTM strategy and launch plans for new product capabilities and feature releases, partnering with Product to translate roadmap into a merchant-facing narrative
- Craft differentiated, defensible positioning and messaging for products and verticals, in partnership with Brand to ensure consistency across channels
- Own ongoing competitive analysis, win/loss insight-gathering, and customer research to inform positioning, sales strategy, and roadmap conversations
- Build the sales collateral, battlecards, and playbooks the sales team needs to sell new capabilities effectively, partnering with Sales leadership on delivery and training cadence
- Coordinate cross-functional launch execution across Product, Sales, CX, and Marketing for major releases — briefing and directing the content, creative, and demand gen teams who produce and distribute launch assets, rather than producing every asset personally
- Develop the positioning and messaging strategy that drives adoption of existing product capabilities among current customers, partnering with demand gen/lifecycle marketing on execution
- Track and report on product marketing outcomes — launch velocity, sales enablement adoption, competitive win rates — and connect them to pipeline and revenue impact
Requirements:
- 7+ years of proven experience in B2B product marketing, preferably within technology/SaaS, logistics, retail, or e-commerce. 3PL experience is a strong plus
- A track record of collaborating on GTM strategy across functions, including Product, Marketing and Customer Experience, and delivering successful end-to-end product launches
- Exceptional written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to translate complex or technical product capabilities into clear, compelling merchant value
- Comfortable partnering with Product, Sales, and Content/Creative teams and driving outcomes through influence rather than direct authority
- Experience building sales collateral, playbooks, and training materials, and partnering with sales leadership on rollout
- Strong analytical background with the ability to translate market research and performance data into positioning decisions and measurable outcomes
- Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle and experience partnering directly with Product teams
- Experience with market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation
- Experience with B2B companies, ideally with exposure to ecommerce, SaaS, logistics, or fulfillment
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a continuous cadence of product launches and shifting priorities
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
