They are seeking an Endpoint Security Engineer to ensure operational and proactive maintenance of endpoint monitoring capabilities across client environments, collaborating with a team to address complex security challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Deploy and maintain CrowdStrike Falcon endpoint security solutions in Enterprise and Mid-Market environments, including installation and integration with Vigilant infrastructure
- Develop and implement endpoint security policies and configurations that align with industry best practices and client requirements
- This includes defining rules for antivirus, firewall, intrusion prevention, and other security mechanisms
- Collaborate across teams for training, development opportunities, and service improvement
- Ensure that documentation, workflows, and processes remain accurate and up to date
- Collaborate with the security operations teams to identify and respond to security incidents
- Continuously evaluate and optimize endpoint security configurations to enhance protection, minimize false positives, and improve overall system performance
- Actively participate in training, attend conferences, and engage in continuous learning to enhance your expertise
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients regarding endpoint security issues
- Assisting clients with adhering to industry best practices and security standards such as NIST, CIS, and GDPR
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity or related field, or equivalent combination of experience and industry training/certifications
- 2+ years of experience working in a Security Engineer role or similar position
- Experience administering the CrowdStrike Falcon platform
- Ability to communicate the risks and benefits of security decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to collaborate with other teams on drafting project plans and executing on those plans in a timely fashion
- Ability to test and verify new feature sets within CrowdStrike
- Experience managing and automating large-scale EDR deployments
- Experience working with Windows Defender
- Industry certifications such as the Certified Crowdstrike Falcon Administrator (CCFA)
- Capability to look at a process to identify opportunities for cycle-time reduction
