They are seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain security measures to protect applications, networks, and information systems from threats and vulnerabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain security measures to protect applications, networks, and information systems from threats and vulnerabilities
- Performing vulnerability assessments
- Monitoring security tools and alerts
- Analyzing incidents
- Coordinating remediation activities with cross-functional teams
- Developing and enforcing security policies and standards
- Conducting security reviews of new and existing systems
- Supporting compliance with relevant frameworks and regulations
- Collaborating with stakeholders to enhance overall security posture
- Participating in security awareness initiatives
- Continuously evaluating emerging risks and technologies
Requirements:
- Strong skills in Cybersecurity and Information Security, with the ability to design and implement security controls across diverse environments
- Proficiency in Network Security, including securing network infrastructure, configuring firewalls, and monitoring for suspicious activity
- Experience in Application Security, such as secure coding practices, code reviews, and protecting web and mobile applications from common attack vectors
- Hands-on experience with Vulnerability Assessment, including scanning, analysis, prioritization, and coordination of remediation efforts
- Knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS), and familiarity with compliance requirements
- Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and vulnerability scanners
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with distributed teams
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+) are beneficial
