Compassion International is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee internal marketing projects for their Supporter Experience team. This role involves leading various marketing initiatives and applying formal project management processes to ensure project success.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- Act as an advocate to raise the awareness of the needs of children. Understand Christ’s mandate to protect children. Commit to and prioritizes child protection considerations in all decision-making, tasks and activities across the ministry. Abide by all behavioral expectations in Compassion’s Statement of Commitment to Child Protection and Code of Conduct. Report any concerns of abuse, neglect or exploitation of children through Compassion’s internal reporting process and appropriately support responses to incidents if they occur

- Use discretion and judgement to lead or support project planning, resourcing, staffing, supply and subcontract management on basic projects
- Effectively use structured project governance systems for monitoring and tracking deliverables and resolving issues, ensuring delivery to the project plan and budget on basic projects
- Apply professional project management skills to plan, monitor and manage projects from initiation through completion. This includes developing assignments, timetables and responsibilities for team members for the duration of the project
- Provide progress reporting, troubleshooting and people management, to include organizing team members, and ensuring that materials and equipment resources are delivered on time
- Monitor performance and recommend schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions
- Ensure project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule and cost
- May provide expertise to other professionals and support staff in the project management discipline
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or equivalent education, training and/or certification
- Three years relevant experience as a project manager
- Demonstrated experience using a project management system for project/program/portfolio management
- Familiarity with agile methodologies including working in Sprints and performing backlog refinement
- Experience managing projects in marketing contexts strongly preferred
- Workfront experience preferred
