About this role
STRAVEXA is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer with expertise in Cloud Foundations and AWS GovCloud. The role involves building and managing secure cloud infrastructure, developing automation solutions, and ensuring compliance with FedRAMP requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Build and manage AWS GovCloud cloud foundations and secure landing zones
- Develop account provisioning automation, governance policies, and Terraform modules
- Implement cloud guardrails, IAM standards, and compliance automation
- Support cloud operations, incident response, cost optimization, and engineering enablement
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement secure, scalable cloud infrastructure aligned with FedRAMP requirements
Requirements:
- 8+ years of SRE, Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, or Platform Engineering experience
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, including AWS Organizations, IAM, Control Tower, multi-account environments, and Terraform
- Experience building Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and reusable Terraform modules
- Proficiency in automation using Python, Go, or Ruby
- Knowledge of AWS services such as Lambda, EventBridge, SQS, CloudFormation, IAM Identity Center, and account provisioning
- Experience with cloud governance, security guardrails, IAM, and cloud compliance
- Strong documentation, troubleshooting, and production support experience
- Experience with AWS GovCloud, FedRAMP High, DoD IL5, or other regulated cloud environments
- Background in FinOps, cloud cost optimization, compliance automation, and landing zone implementations
