Manager of Software Engineering - Solutions Architecture

They are seeking a hands-on Software Engineering Manager with strong solution architecture expertise to lead development teams and drive technical strategy while collaborating with business stakeholders to deliver innovative technology solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and develop software engineering and architecture team members through coaching, feedback, and career development initiatives
• Foster a collaborative, high-performing engineering culture centered on innovation, accountability, and continuous learning
• Serve as a technical leader and solution architect for key enterprise initiatives and business domains
• Guide architectural decisions, technical standards, and best practices to support scalable and maintainable solutions
• Partner with product management and business stakeholders to align technical roadmaps with strategic business priorities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery across multiple initiatives
• Support Agile development practices and promote DevOps principles to improve delivery speed and quality
• Evaluate and recommend modern technologies, cloud solutions, and engineering tools to enhance platform capabilities
• Provide leadership across architecture efforts while balancing hands-on technical involvement with people management responsibilities

Requirements:

• Approximately 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 3+ years in a technical leadership or engineering management role
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline; equivalent practical experience will also be considered
• Strong background in software architecture, system design, and enterprise application development
• Demonstrated success leading software engineers and technical teams in Agile environments
• Experience influencing technical direction and collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills
