Traffic Engineer (EIT) - Data Center

Olsson is an engineering and design firm focused on improving the world through innovative solutions. They are seeking an Engineer in Training (EIT) to support traffic studies and transportation analyses for data center projects across the United States.

Responsibilities:

• Support various stages of traffic and transportation analysis and design for data center developments across the United States
• Collect, review, and analyze traffic and transportation data to evaluate roadway operations, site access, and traffic impacts
• Prepare technical reports, exhibits, and recommendations that support project planning, permitting, and design efforts
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and assist with client and agency coordination throughout project delivery
• Apply traffic engineering principles, company standards, and industry best practices while contributing to multiple projects and meeting project deadlines

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Engineer In Training (EIT) certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of related traffic or transportation engineering experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to contribute effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience supporting traffic impact studies, traffic operations analyses, or transportation planning projects is beneficial
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Synchro, SimTraffic, HCS, VISSIM, or similar traffic analysis software is beneficial
• Experience supporting large-scale site development, industrial, mission-critical, or data center projects is beneficial
