Regional Service Sales Account Manager - Fire Protection

ORR Protection is one of the fastest growing family-owned fire protection companies in the country, dedicated to safeguarding people, property, and the environment. They are seeking a Regional Service Sales Account Manager to increase sales for electronic and mechanical life safety systems while managing client relationships and pursuing new business opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Manage sales activities across Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, and other surrounding states
• Engage with vertical markets such as Data Centers, Energy/Power Generation, Industrial, Manufacturing, Telecommunications, Cable/Broadband, and other Mission-Critical facilities
• Enjoy flexibility to work from home when not traveling
• Expect up to 35-40% travel, including some overnight trips, to build territory and fulfill job duties
• Responsible for booking $300K in testing & inspection service contracts annually
• Demonstrate a commitment to our mission of safeguarding people, property, and the environment in all job functions
• Responsible for growing the business by providing solutions to existing as well as new customers
• Identify potential clients within sectors that align with ORR Protection’s profile, specifically focusing on mission-critical customers
• Initiate new business opportunities through proactive outreach and engagement, highlighting ORR’s specialized services
• Engage with key decision-makers to understand their needs and market opportunities
• Collaborate with the Operations Team to review and refine proposals and contracts
• Manage negotiations and successfully close sales deals of varying complexity, duration, and value
• Attend and participate in tradeshows, conferences, and networking events within the mission-critical space
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in sales
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience in fire protection or related industries
• NICET Fire Alarm Certification
• SPIN-Selling or Challenger sales training
• Google experience
• Experience using a CRM to track leads and progress
