Senior Manager, Product Management, iMRI Suite and Deployment Services

Cook Medical is a leading company in the healthcare industry, and they are seeking a Senior Manager for Product Management in the iMRI Suite and Deployment Services. The role involves overseeing the product lifecycle, leading product strategy execution, and managing teams to ensure alignment with business goals.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the total product lifecycle (TPLC) and business goals for the iMRI Suite and Deployment Services function
• Lead the development and execution of the iMRI Suite product strategy and Deployment Services strategy in alignment with division and company business goals, vision and strategy
• Ensure the iMRI Suite product team and Deployment Services team are efficient, effective, and compliant in meeting the needs of our customers and internal stakeholders and communicate those needs to Division leadership
• Lead, coach, develop and evaluate the iMRI Suite product management team and Deployment Services product management team, and ensure all team members are acting in support of company values and goals
• Work closely with other leaders within the iMRI Division, company Functions, and Operational Units to implement the iMRI Suite and Deployment Services strategy and ensure consistency in priorities, policies, compliance, processes, structure, and projects
• Serve as the lead product manager for the iMRI Suite, responsible for the product from feasibility through commercialization including the product idea development process, opportunity assessments to evaluate future products and line extensions, and supporting and collaborating with Research and Development (R&D) throughout the product development process
• Solve problems that impact multiple departments or specialties using prior experience and analysis of issues
• Collaborate with iMRI Division leadership to establish and drive aligned business goals and strategy across iMRI Suite and Deployment Services
• Responsible for short and long-term iMRI Suite and Deployment Services plans and alignment of the plans with marketing, sales, manufacturing and other division leadership
• Plan and execute efficient product roll-outs through collaboration with strategic marketing, product launch teams, sales, commercial business, regulatory, R&D, and manufacturing
• In collaboration with the commercial business team, continuously evaluate and improve profitability for the iMRI Suite and Deployment Services through development of the pricing strategy and supply chain effectiveness. Monitor key metrics in line with company and Division financial objectives
• May have budget or product P&L accountability for area of responsibility, or manage elements of the budget
• Ensure availability and efficiency of iMRI Suite during the entire product lifecycle, facilitate collaboration with functional teams and contribute to developing product retirement strategies when necessary
• Identify issues or opportunities with the iMRI Suite, Deployment Services, and related systems that may have potential impact on our company brand and/or reputation and communicate those to iMRI Division leadership
• Influence others regarding decisions on project resources and allocations and collaborate with other departments to identify and mitigate project risks
• Provide strategic direction to the Deployment Services team, overseeing scope, delivery model, and evolution of the Copernicus Installation Services, including hospital suite configuration, vendor coordination, and end-to-end installation management, in collaboration with iMRI Division leadership
• Collaborate with Human Resources in the process of hiring, developing, and retaining a high performing, diverse workforce
• Establish and maintain strong team communication through regular interactions and meetings. and ensure the team is aware of division and company mission, vision, purpose, and business strategy and overall company status and news
• Ensure roles and responsibilities, performance expectations, and training requirements are developed and clearly documented and communicated to each employee. Cultivate a safe, secure, and supportive environment where employees can thrive, and morale is maintained

• Responsible for performance and wage reviews for team members
• Meet deadlines and ensure employees complete administrative tasks such as expenses, training, reporting, policy acknowledgements, submission of performance reviews, etc. in a timely manner

• Within scope of responsibility, ensure all quality, regulatory, compliance and product specific requirements are met

Requirements:

• College degree in related field and/or equivalent relevant experience
• Prior Global Product Management experience managing individual or multiple product lines, ideally with medical device, capital equipment, and integrated clinical solutions
• Minimum 10 Years of relevant work experience, including but not limited to, product management, engineering, sales and/or marketing
• Advanced degree (Masters or MBA or equivalent) may reduce the years of experience requirement
• Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing product strategies and plans that drive business goals
• Demonstrates mastery level knowledge within multiple aspects of product management (e.g. clinical, technical, business acumen, etc.) within applicable product portfolios and market(s)
• Prior people management experience
• Demonstrated positive and productive working relationships with sales, marketing, engineering, operations and/or other relevant company teams
• Demonstrated leadership ability
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• At least 7 years of experience in Product Management or equivalent in the medical device industry
• At least 3 years people management experience
• Experience with MRI systems, interventional radiology, interventional MRI, or image-guided procedure platforms strongly preferred
• Familiarity with capital equipment or integrated suite-level product commercialization, including experience working alongside OEM partners, preferred
