Sales Development Representative

Red Wing Shoe Company is a global company based in Red Wing, Minnesota, known for its rich history and commitment to innovation. They are seeking a Sales Development Representative responsible for initiating contact with prospects and customers to sell products and services through various communication channels, while managing leads and maximizing sales opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Outbound lead generation and inbound lead qualification
• Manage inbound leads from website, stores, campaigns, and phone inquiries
• Accurately assess the customer's business, applications, and identify the best-fit RWS sales resource to follow-up on qualified opportunities
• Execute qualification process to set introduction meetings with appropriate sales resources to close RWS opportunity
• Identify, qualify, and deliver sales opportunities within Small Business. Mid-Market and National/Global segments across Industrial RWfB portfolio
• In addition, be responsible for responding to contact initiated by customers or prospects via telephone, email, gaining an understanding of the customers’ needs or requirements, moving the opportunity towards a sale, meeting, or other relevant outcome
• Focus upon maximizing sales of RW products to existing customers by trying to cross sell or up-sell

Requirements:

• Experience in a related business field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to get results through influence and collaboration
• Ability to leverage a dynamic sales process
• Demonstrated ability to achieve specific and measurable goals
• Possess financial and business acumen; understands the dynamics of the business
• Strong communication and analytical skills required, including the ability to interpret challenges, and formulate pragmatic, effective recommendations
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
• Customer experience or sales environment preferred
