Growth Marketing Specialist | Talent Marketplace

Lago is building a marketplace for exceptional professionals to connect with companies. The Growth Marketing Specialist will design, execute, and iterate on data-driven growth experiments to acquire, activate, and retain customers across various marketing channels.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute growth experiments across acquisition, activation, retention, and referral channels
• Identify, prioritize, and test growth hypotheses using structured frameworks (e.g., ICE, PIE scoring)
• Manage and optimize performance marketing channels including paid social, paid search, email, and SEO
• Analyze funnel data to identify conversion bottlenecks and develop strategies to address them
• Own A/B testing programs across landing pages, ad creative, onboarding flows, and email sequences
• Collaborate with product, content, and creative teams to execute cross-functional growth initiatives
• Monitor and report on growth KPIs including CAC, LTV, retention rates, and funnel conversion metrics
• Build and maintain dashboards to track key growth metrics and experiment results
• Research and implement new growth channels, tools, and tactics
• Present experiment findings and growth insights to leadership with clear recommendations

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of bookkeeping experience
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
• Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping principles and financial transaction recording
• Experience with bank reconciliations, AP/AR, and month-end close processes
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts or clients simultaneously
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for financial data management
• Experience with growth in a SaaS, D2C, or ecommerce environment
• Familiarity with product-led growth (PLG) strategies
• Knowledge of SQL or basic data querying for self-serve analytics
• Experience with landing page tools (Unbounce, Webflow, or similar)
• Background in CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization)
• Experience building and analyzing customer lifecycle email programs
