Oracle Business Systems Analyst Contractor: 10+ years (Expert)

Scalence L.L.C. is seeking an Oracle Business Systems Analyst Contractor with extensive experience in Oracle Cloud Financials. The role involves leading the Finance workstream, managing end-to-end delivery, and collaborating with finance stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and configuration.

Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end delivery of the Finance workstream: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Intercompany, and Projects (Capital Projects)
• Lead requirements gathering and design workshops with client finance stakeholders
• Author functional specifications (Lean Specs) for RICE objects (Reports, integrations, conversion, extension) within the Finance workstream
• Perform hands-on Oracle Fusion Cloud configuration across GL, AP, FA, CM, Intercompany, and Projects modules
• Design and execute test scripts (unit, integration/SIT, UAT) and manage defect triage/resolution for the workstream
• Manage cutover and data conversion activities specific to Finance
• Provide weekly status reporting (progress, milestones, risks, decisions needed) to program leadership
• Proactively identify, escalate, and drive resolution of risks/red flags: scope creep, resourcing gaps, dependency blockers, timeline slippage
• Coordinate with cross-functional workstreams (Supply Chain and/or other Implementation teams) to manage Finance-related dependencies

Requirements:

• 8+ years of Oracle Cloud (Fusion) Financials implementation experience, with at least 2 full lifecycle implementations as a functional lead
• Deep hands-on configuration expertise across GL, AP, FA, CM, Intercompany and Projects
• Demonstrated ability to independently author functional specifications and translate them into configuration
• Strong testing discipline experience building test scripts and leading SIT/UAT cycles
• Excellent client-facing communication skills; comfortable presenting status and risks directly to client finance leadership and program sponsors
• Proven track record operating with minimal oversight in a 'workstream owner' capacity, not just a team contributor
• Oracle Cloud Financials certification(s)
• Prior experience on M&A-driven ERP program (carve-out, divestiture, merger integration, or stand-up) understands legal entity structuring, COA harmonization, and intercompany accounting complexities
• Prior experience in TMT (Technology, Media, Telecom) or similarly complex, asset-intensive industries
• Familiarity with data conversion tooling (FBDI/ADFdi) and reconciliation approaches for finance conversions
• Prior exposure to Client or Big 4 delivery methodology and governance cadence
