Tele Engineering Specialist (Secret)

Parsons Corporation is seeking a Tele Engineering Specialist to join their team. In this role, you will apply advanced engineering principles to solve complex problems, lead a diverse team, and develop innovative applications that drive new business opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Applies advanced principles, theories, and concepts
• Works on unusually complex problems and provides solutions that are highly creative
• Provides advice and counsel to the organization in area of expertise
• Leads a technically and experientially contrasted team
• Designs, researches and develops highly advanced applications which contribute to new product/business opportunities
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate
• Architects and maintains robust log ingestion pipelines
• Designs, develops, implements, and optimizes advanced correlation rules, use cases, and detection logic

Requirements:

• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience or additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in the use of network related tools such as Wireshark, Netcool, Solarwinds
• Proficient in the creation of Cyber Security policies to better defend the Network
• Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines
• Potential to perform in a lead capacity, excellent written and oral communications skills, and a familiarity of industry practices and regulations are required
• Knowledge of system engineering tools
• Works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to details
