Public Health Project Manager

Talent Groups is seeking a Public Health Project Manager to coordinate and manage community engagement initiatives in Rhode Island. The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, maintaining project plans, and ensuring timely execution of project milestones.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage statewide community engagement initiatives and partner activities
• Organize stakeholder meetings, advisory council sessions, and regional engagement events
• Develop meeting agendas, briefing materials, presentations, and follow-up action items
• Maintain project plans, engagement calendars, outreach trackers, and implementation schedules
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, community organizations, municipalities, regional partners, and state agencies
• Track project milestones, risks, decisions, and deliverables while ensuring timely execution
• Support executive reporting, CMS documentation, and leadership updates
• Coordinate communications, accessibility, language support, and public-facing materials

Requirements:

• 7+ years of Project or Program Management experience
• Experience supporting public health, healthcare, Medicaid, human services, or government programs
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills
• Experience planning and facilitating meetings, workshops, or advisory councils
• Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously
• Experience with Medicaid, Rural Health, Health Equity, Community Engagement, or Public Health initiatives
• Experience working with state agencies, healthcare organizations, or community-based organizations
• PMP certification is a plus
