Founding Product Designer (UI/UX)

PassID is building the financial credential layer for the global economy, enabling people to carry their financial reputation across borders. As a Founding Product Designer (UI/UX) intern, you will help shape the user experience and visual identity of the platform by collaborating with various teams and conducting user research.

Responsibilities:

• Help shape the core user experience and visual identity of our financial credential platform
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and founders to design intuitive flows for users and institutional partners
• Conducting user research
• Mapping user journeys
• Creating wireframes and prototypes
• Refining interaction and visual design across web interfaces and dashboards
• Participate in product discovery
• Contribute to design systems and component libraries
• Run lightweight usability tests to validate solutions

Requirements:

• Product Design and Design Thinking skills to define end-to-end experiences, frame problems clearly, and generate user-centered solutions
• UX Research and User Research capabilities to conduct interviews, gather insights, test prototypes, and translate findings into actionable design decisions
• Visual Design proficiency to create clean interfaces, consistent layouts, and a cohesive design system that supports PassID's brand and usability goals
• Ability to work with product and engineering teams using modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch) and basic knowledge of responsive web design principles
• Strong communication skills, comfort with feedback and iteration, and the ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced startup environment
• Current study or previous education in Design, HCI, Interaction Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience through projects or portfolios
• Interest in fintech, digital identity, or privacy-preserving technologies
• Prior experience designing B2B or data-heavy products
