Project Supply Chain Manager

WSP is currently initiating a search for a Project Supply Chain Manager. The selected candidate will manage material storage site activities on construction projects, ensuring effective supply chain and inventory control while working on-site across the United States.

Responsibilities:

• Performs supply chain and logistics functions, such as material/services procurement, production planning, inventory control, outsourcing, vendor selection and distribution
• Coordinates and integrates the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers
• Ensures that inventories are secure, properly identified and readily accessible to authorized personnel
• Maintains controls over various types of inventories (e.g., raw materials, subassemblies, finished goods)
• Conducts physical inventory counts and reconciles results with inventory records
• Ensures that quantities of incoming and outgoing shipments are correct
• Conducts analyses of inventory levels, and coordinates with production and sales requirements
• Coordinates inbound and outbound logistical operations including inventory management, warehousing, and transportation to ensure sufficient supply of goods and products
• Analyzes transportation and distribution systems and procedures to ensure the efficient and economical delivery of the organization's products
• Conduct detailed analysis of inventory in comparison to project needs (site, schedule)

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
• 5-7 years of relevant experience preferred
• Individual must have experience in a management role, managing, and fostering the development of personnel assigned to them
• 3-5 years quantifiable experience in Project Management
• 3-5 years quantifiable experience in Supply Chain Management practices
• General knowledge of the power delivery industry
• Team members must be extremely proficient in the Office 365 suite of software, with an emphasis in Excel. Advanced Excel knowledge is beneficial
• Experience in collaborating on Projects as a value-added member
• Role will be located at the Project Site (Nationwide) consisting of: Onsite Work (Office, Field), Remote: Based on needs of the Project, Travel
• 5+ years of relevant experience preferred
• Essential project management certification required (e.g., PMP, CAP-M)
