Digital Marketing Account Manager

30 Lines is a digital marketing agency built for the multifamily industry, seeking a Digital Marketing Account Manager to own a book of client accounts. The role involves maintaining client relationships, analyzing performance data, and ensuring clients achieve their marketing goals.

Responsibilities:

• Own the relationship for an assigned book of client organizations and properties. Serve as the primary contact for regional managers, marketing directors, and ownership
• Establish and document what success looks like for every service at onboarding, then hold every conversation against it
• Run a consistent communication cadence. A monthly reporting touch for every client, regular check-ins, and quarterly business reviews for portfolio accounts
• Throw the punch before the client does. Come to every meeting with a diagnosis and a specific recommendation, not a data dump
• Serve as the first escalation point when something breaks. Own the response, coordinate the fix, and close the loop with the client
• Keep the CRM current with contacts, goals, meeting notes, and open items so any teammate can pick up the account cold
• Keep an honest account health rating on every account in the book and raise the ones trending down before they become renewal conversations
• Review account performance on a set cadence and turn it into insight. What did the client buy, how did it perform, what are we recommending next
• Read across channels. Website, paid search, SEO, lease nurturing, and email are one funnel to the client, not five separate reports
• Use benchmarks to answer "how are we doing" with real context. Industry, 30 Lines portfolio, and the property's own history
• Connect marketing performance to leasing outcomes. Leads, cost per lead, tours, leases, and occupancy, not impressions
• Work the monitoring and alert queue daily so we find tracking, website, and campaign problems before the client does
• Deliver reporting and insight on time, every month, for every account in the book
• Use the AI-assisted toolkit as a default part of how you work the book, and flag the manual steps in your week that should be automated instead of documented
• Own the monthly advertising budget cycle for your book. Confirm recommendations, hit the cutoff, and verify that what is live matches what is contracted
• Flag pacing and performance issues early and coordinate the fix with the PPC and SEO product teams
• Verify that what we sold is what we deliver and that what we deliver is what we bill
• Uphold Fair Housing and FTC pricing standards in every piece of client-facing copy and advertising you approve
• Protect client data in everything you touch. Analytics access, ad accounts, CRM records, and reporting all carry information we are accountable for
• Keep credentials and client data out of tickets, documents, and chat. Use the approved secret handling path
• Support SOC 2 evidence and control requirements for client-facing processes, and complete assigned compliance tasks on time
• Raise security and privacy risks early. A quiet risk is a bigger one
• Partner with Onboarding and the project management team through new client and new property launches. Check in weekly until the work is live
• Translate client requests into clearly scoped work for the production teams. Protect the client experience and the team's capacity at the same time
• Bring client insight, market intelligence, and recurring friction back to Product, Sales, and Leadership. You see the market before the roadmap does
• Give the team the context behind the ask so recommendations land right the first time
• Identify expansion opportunities inside your book. New properties, additional services, and new regions
• Partner with Sales and Revenue Operations on proposals, renewals, and pricing conversations
• Earn referrals by being the reason a client recommends us to a peer
• Take on additional projects and responsibilities as needed to support the growth of the company

Requirements:

• 4+ years in account management, client success or digital marketing with direct client ownership
• Experience managing multi-account or multi-location portfolios, not single-account work
• Working fluency across websites, paid search, SEO and email, explained without jargon
• Comfort with data. You spot the anomaly and form a recommendation from it
• Client-ready writing that is short, clear and specific
• Bias for action. You make the call with incomplete information and own the outcome
• Multifamily, property management or real estate marketing experience
• Digital marketing agency experience
• Hands-on with Google Ads, GA4, Search Console and Tag Manager
• Familiarity with Yardi, Entrata, RealPage, AppFolio and RentCafe
• Fair Housing advertising knowledge
• Demonstrated use of AI tooling to change how you work
