Platform Engineering & DevOps

BravoTECH is a company that builds and supports secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud platforms. They are seeking a Platform Engineer to design, deploy, automate, monitor, and maintain Azure-based infrastructure while driving operational excellence across various environments.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and support Azure cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, networking, storage, and platform services
• Administer and optimize Azure SQL Database, SQL Server, and Snowflake environments
• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Implement and enforce infrastructure and data security controls, access management, and governance standards
• Monitor platform health, performance, availability, and security using cloud monitoring and alerting tools
• Support backup, recovery, disaster recovery, patching, upgrades, and scaling activities
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, database, deployment, access, and performance issues
• Collaborate with application, data, security, and business teams to deliver reliable cloud solutions

Requirements:

• Experience managing Azure Commercial Cloud infrastructure
• Hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Machines, including deployment, administration, and troubleshooting
• Experience creating, configuring, monitoring, and supporting Azure SQL Database environments
• SQL Server administration and database support experience
• Experience supporting Snowflake, including schemas, roles, warehouses, and access management
• Knowledge of Azure Linked Services configuration and troubleshooting
• Experience with infrastructure security, including networking, firewall rules, private endpoints, service principals, managed identities, and Key Vault
• Experience implementing role-based access controls and user access management
• Knowledge of database backup, recovery, restore, and disaster recovery processes
• Experience monitoring and optimizing cloud infrastructure and database performance
• Hands-on DevOps experience supporting software deployments and release processes
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Proficiency with GitHub, GitLab, or Azure DevOps
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across cloud, database, security, and deployment environments
• Experience with Azure AI Foundry and Azure Machine Learning
• Knowledge of Azure data governance, cataloging, and data lineage solutions
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, PowerShell, or Python
• Experience with Databricks, Azure Data Factory, or ETL platforms
• Experience supporting web applications, APIs, and backend services
• Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights
