Sr. Project Manager

Launch Consulting Group is seeking a hands-on Senior IT Project Manager to lead infrastructure, systems implementation, and technology deployment initiatives across a large organization. The successful candidate will manage schedules, dependencies, risks, testing, deployments, vendors, and stakeholder communication while coordinating technical teams through implementation and go-live activities.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables
• Coordinate cross-functional technical teams throughout project execution
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations
• Facilitate project meetings, status reviews, and stakeholder communications
• Coordinate testing, deployment, cutover, and go-live activities
• Partner with vendors and technical SMEs to resolve blockers
• Ensure projects remain on schedule and within scope
• Drive accountability and momentum across multiple workstreams

Requirements:

• 7+ years of project management experience leading IT implementation or infrastructure projects
• Experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams and technical teams
• Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid approaches
• Experience managing: Risks, Dependencies, Action items, Testing activities, Cutovers, Deployments, Hypercare support
• Demonstrated ability to remove blockers and keep projects progressing
• Strong communication skills with technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with changing priorities
• Manufacturing environments
• Distribution or supply chain organizations
• ERP implementations (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Infrastructure upgrades and migrations
• Network, cloud, security, or data center initiatives
