IT Programmer Analyst | Business Applications - Clinical

UF Health is a healthcare organization that offers a remote role supporting ERP systems vital for healthcare operations. The IT Programmer Analyst will analyze business needs, design software solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance applications.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzes business needs and defines the scope and objectives for IT systems and software solutions
• Designs software solutions using programming specifications, diagrams, and flowcharts
• Writes, tests, and debugs code to optimize platform performance
• Configures and customizes vendor-provided systems software to meet business requirements
• Develops diagnostic programs to test integrated systems and ensure functionality
• Documents technical specifications and collaborates with cross-functional teams to enhance applications
• Troubleshoots and resolves software defects to ensure system efficiency and reliability

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in business administration, Allied Health, Computer Science, or a related field required
• Two (2) years of specialized training in an applicable field may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement
• 3+ years of experience in software development and programming
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or SQL
• Experience designing software solutions and debugging code
• Strong technical documentation skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of system integration and software testing methodologies
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• Preferred experience with PeopleSoft applications, including system configuration, support, troubleshooting, and end-user assistance
