Program Manager, Education Programs

The Association of Cancer Care Centers (ACCC) is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to improving cancer care for patients and communities across the country. The Program Manager, Education Programs plays a key role in delivering high-quality oncology education programs and is responsible for managing education initiatives from planning through execution and evaluation.

Responsibilities:

• Execute assigned education initiatives from planning through delivery and evaluation
• Manage program timelines, deliverables, and project documentation using project management systems
• Coordinate program logistics including webinars, publications, workshops, surveys, advisory activities, and educational resources
• Ensure programs remain aligned with approved scope, budgets, and timelines
• Manage assigned program budgets, monitor expenditures, forecast project needs, and ensure appropriate use of grant and contract funds
• Monitor project milestones and communicate status updates to leadership
• Proactively identify and address project risks, escalating issues as needed to maintain project timelines, quality, and stakeholder expectations
• Serve as a professional representative of ACCC, fostering positive relationships with members, faculty, consultants, vendors, and external partners through collaboration
• Coordinate communications with faculty, advisory board members, consultants, and program participants
• Support relationships with program funders through regular reporting and program updates
• Ensure stakeholder expectations are aligned with project timelines and deliverables
• Assist with development of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) when needed
• Coordinate vendor activities and monitor performance during project execution
• Ensure vendors meet program deadlines and quality expectations
• Collect and track program participation and outcome metrics
• Support development of program evaluations and surveys
• Lead/facilitate analysis of program feedback and performance data
• Coordinate with Marketing, Editorial, and Membership teams to support promotion of education initiatives
• Maintain communication with internal teams to ensure coordinated program execution

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum five (5) years of professional experience in project management, nonprofit, healthcare, oncology, and/or association environments
• Strong organizational and coordination skills
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives
• Proficiency with project management, collaboration, and education technology platforms (e.g., Asana, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, learning management systems, survey platforms, or similar tools)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines and deliverables
• Experience supporting grant-funded or contract-funded programs
• Experience working with healthcare or medical education initiatives
