Senior Site Reliability Engineer :26-02279

Akraya, Inc. is an award-winning IT staffing firm, and they are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer. This senior-level role focuses on building and maintaining secure cloud infrastructure within AWS GovCloud to meet stringent federal compliance requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and manage AWS GovCloud infrastructure for compliance
• Automate account provisioning and enforce security guardrails
• Develop reusable infrastructure-as-code modules for teams
• Support standardized cloud resource creation and management
• Collaborate with other teams on cloud architecture and operations

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in SRE, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, platform engineering, or infrastructure software
• Hands-on experience with AWS multi-account environments, AWS Organizations, IAM, Terraform, and cloud governance
• Experience building automation in Python, Go, Ruby, or similar languages
• Familiarity with Control Tower, Account Factory for Terraform, CloudFormation, EventBridge, Lambda, SQS, IAM Identity Center, or similar AWS platform services
• Strong understanding of reliability, security, cost management, and developer experience tradeoffs in cloud platforms
• Experience within regulated environments, specifically those adhering to FedRAMP High and DoD IL5 standards, or similar federal compliance frameworks
