Sr Manager, Hematology & Oncology Marketing

Ultimate Staffing is recruiting for a pharmaceutical or specialty healthcare company seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to support US hematology and oncology business strategy. The role focuses on developing and executing brand tactics for asparaginase hematology products, evaluating marketing effectiveness, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, and managing budgets.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute tactical plans that pull through brand strategy, to maintain product uptake and meet or exceed expected financial return
• Consistently manage multiple projects to deliver high-quality work product in a timely fashion
• Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing programs and recommend changes in strategy or tactics as appropriate
• Collaborate and coordinate with Oncology Nurse Educators to ensure alignment, deliver on business priorities, and exceed business targets through implementation of brand strategy and tactics
• Collaborate with Legal, Regulatory, Medical, and Compliance stakeholders to ensure development and execution of compliant marketing initiatives
• Collaborate with other cross-functional teams such as Digital & Patient Marketing, Learning & Development, Insights & Analytics, Market Access, Corporate Strategy, and Patient Advocacy to ensure alignment and advance the business
• Effectively track and manage marketing budget for areas of responsibility

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science or Arts (or equivalent work experience)
• minimum 5 years of commercial experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or other specialty healthcare industry, including 2 years in marketing
• Demonstrated ability to support development of marketing strategies and lead execution of key tactics to drive adoption and growth of inline products in US specialty or biotech market
• Experience with various components of marketing mix (ie, promotional approaches)-including HCP personal promotion, non-personal promotion, peer-to-peer, and congress planning-and with prioritizing resources to most effective areas to drive results
• Strong project management skills with ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities, external agencies and vendors, and promotional budgets
• Strong understanding of legal and regulatory environment in pharmaceutical promotion, pharma industry guidelines, and other compliance-related issues
• Ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally to implement sales or marketing programs with measurable business impact in a heavily matrixed, fast-paced environment
• Ability to clearly communicate at all levels of the organization as well as with external audiences
• MBA
• experience with hematology, oncology, pediatric, or rare disease products strongly preferred
