Salesforce Business Analyst

Conexus Solutions, Inc. is building a dedicated practice to help life sciences companies enhance customer engagement on the Salesforce platform. The Salesforce Business Analyst will lead requirements discovery, facilitate stakeholder workshops, and ensure effective business process design and implementation on Salesforce.

Responsibilities:

• Lead requirements discovery. Own and facilitate the stakeholder workshops with client commercial, sales operations, medical, and IT teams
• Map the business. Produce current- and future-state process maps, gap analyses, and the requirements traceability that keeps scope honest through go-live
• Own business process design. Determine how each commercial process should work in Salesforce, and drive it to stakeholder sign-off
• Surface compliance requirements. Safety event capture, approved content rules, sample accountability, consent, and spend reporting rarely come up unprompted in a workshop. Knowing to ask is a core part of this job
• Document rigorously. Write user stories with clear acceptance criteria and functional specifications the delivery team — including offshore resources — can build from without guesswork
• Own functional quality. Coordinate and support user acceptance testing, triage defects, and manage them to resolution
• Enable the users. Support the development of training materials, job aids, and process documentation; support hypercare after go-live
• Manage scope in the room. Track requirements against agreed scope, flag change requests early, and escalate risks to the Operations Director
• Contribute to the practice. Build reusable requirement templates, life sciences discovery question banks, and demo assets; support solution demonstrations during the sales cycle

Requirements:

• Salesforce platform experience is the primary requirement. 4+ years working hands-on with core Salesforce — Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, or Platform — in a business analyst, functional consultant, or advanced administrator capacity. This role is core platform and is not a Marketing Cloud role
• Life sciences industry experience is required. 3+ years working with pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device commercial organizations. You must be able to run a discovery session on pharma commercial process without a domain expert in the room — HCP/HCO account and affiliation management, territory design and alignment, call planning and call reporting, sample management, and the compliance constraints that shape each of them
• Proven ability to elicit requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into clear, buildable user stories and functional specifications
• Experience owning functional testing and UAT coordination on a Salesforce implementation
• Strong facilitation and writing skills — you can run a room of opinionated stakeholders and produce documentation that holds up under scrutiny
• Consulting or client-facing delivery experience, including working across concurrent projects
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, and able to travel to client sites as engagements require
• Adverse event and product complaint handling
• MLR review and approved content governance
• HCP/HCO reference data and master data management including experience with third-party healthcare provider data providers (IQVIA, Definitive Healthcare, Symphony Health and similar), NPI/DEA/state licensure validation, account and affiliation hierarchies, match-and-merge logic, and the ongoing data stewardship that keeps the customer master trustworthy
• Territory alignment and incentive compensation
• Field force geographic planning including Salesforce Maps and comparable tooling for territory design, geographic alignment, routing, and call planning for a mobile field organization
• Sample management and PDMA compliance
• Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud / Agentforce. Exposure to Life Sciences Cloud, Customer Engagement, Health Cloud, Data Cloud, or Agentforce. Deep production experience is rare and not expected; we will ramp the right consultant
• Purpose-built life sciences CRM platforms. Experience with industry-specific CRM platforms and their surrounding ecosystems — content management, customer master, alignment, and events — from an end-user, administrator, or implementation perspective
• Certifications. Salesforce Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Business Analyst, Sales Cloud Consultant, Platform App Builder, or Salesforce Maps
• Medical affairs or market access exposure. Experience beyond the commercial field force broadens the engagements you can lead
• Validated-environment awareness. Familiarity with the documentation and change-control expectations that apply where a system falls into validated scope
