The AI Program is a strategic cross-business initiative delivering AI capabilities at scale across Bechtel Infrastructure as part of the wider Execution Transformation Initiative. As AI capabilities scale across complex engineering environments, driving enablement and guilding functional teams to leverage these tools effectively is critical to realising value from our AI investments.
The AI Enablement Manager coordinates with the Functional AI Leads, managing the AI Champions Network, and designing the training and change management programmes that embed AI into everyday work. This role works closely with the AI Program Manager and cross-functional stakeholders to develop Enablement strategies that drive measurable engagement with AI tools and capabilities across the organisation.
This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and will require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership.#LI-RM1
• Lead and coordinate Functional AI Leads across business units, providing dotted-line management and direction on AI Enablement priorities.
• Develop, manage, and grow the AI Champions Network, including onboarding, engagement activities, and performance tracking.
• Design and implement AI change management strategies to support the rollout of new AI tools and capabilities across the organization.
• Develop and deliver AI training programmes tailored to functional teams, ensuring relevance to specific roles and workflows.
• Track and report AI Enablement metrics, engagement levels, and value realization milestones across the AI programme.
• Partner with functional SMEs to identify barriers to AI Enablement and develop targeted enablement and communication solutions.
• Support awareness campaigns related to AI programme milestones, new capability launches, and best-practice sharing.
• Facilitate workshops, focus groups, and feedback sessions to continuously improve Enablement programmes and training content.
• Maintain a repository of learning materials, Enablement guides, and best practices for deployed AI tools.
• Collaborate with AI programme leadership to align Enablement strategies with overall programme objectives and governance frameworks.
• Act as a supervisor to the Dashboard & Analytics Lead.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organisational Change Management, Communications, or a related field.
• 8 years or more of experience in change management, organisational development, learning & development, or technology Enablement roles.
• Proven experience designing and delivering training programmes for enterprise technology deployments at scale.
• Strong understanding of change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci ADKAR, Kotter's 8-Step Model).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and senior stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and coordinate across diverse functional and geographic teams.
• Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority in a complex, matrixed organisation.
• Experience with supervising small teams.
