Sales Development Representative

Aegis Ventures partners with entrepreneurs and industry leaders to launch and scale transformative companies in digital health and artificial intelligence, including Avandra Imaging. The Sales Development Representative will manage customer maintenance renewals, support upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and generate qualified new business through outbound prospecting and inbound lead follow-up. The role also supports retention forecasting, CRM data management, and pipeline growth in partnership with Sales leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Own and manage the annual maintenance renewal process for assigned customer accounts
• Proactively engage customers well in advance of renewal dates to drive timely renewals and minimize churn
• Identify renewal risks and partner with Sales leadership to develop retention strategies
• Support upsells and cross-sell opportunities by identifying customer needs and coordinating with Sales Executives
• Conduct outbound prospecting (calls, emails, LinkedIn, etc.) to generate qualified new business opportunities
• Follow up with inbound leads and assess fit through discovery conversations
• Schedule meetings and coordinate seamless handoffs to Sales Executives
• Maintain accurate customer, renewal, and pipeline data in Salesforce (or other CRM)
• Research target accounts and personalize outreach based on company size, industry, and buyer personas
• Track and report on renewal progress, sales activity, pipeline health, and key performance metrics
• Stay current on Avandra Imaging's products, customer needs, and competitive landscape

Requirements:

• 0–3 years of experience in sales, customer success, account management, or another customer-facing role
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Comfortable using CRM systems such as Salesforce
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and a proactive approach to customer engagement
• Ability to identify customer needs and recognize opportunities for account growth
• Self-motivated, coachable, and eager to learn sales strategy, customer retention, and account management best practices
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
