F135 Production and Development Contract Manager (Remote)

Pratt & Whitney, a world leader in the design, manufacture and service of aircraft engines and auxiliary power systems, is seeking a Contract Manager for its F135 Production and Development team. The role manages contracts from start through close-out, supporting drafting, negotiation, interpretation, risk mitigation, and contract leadership while interacting with internal stakeholders and the United States Government.

Responsibilities:

• As a Contract Manager, you will support the drafting, negotiation, interpretation and management of complex proposal and contract documents for the Military Engines Organization, supporting the F135 Production and Development team
• The F135 Production and Development Contract Manager will be responsible for the contract from start to contract close-out
• The individual will provide terms and conditions review and advice on contracting rights and obligations to mitigate contractual and programmatic risks
• Travel for the selected candidate will be approximately 10%

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of contract management or in a position with a focus on contract drafting and negotiating; OR an Advanced degree and 5+ years of contract management or in a position with a focus on contract drafting and negotiating
• Must be a U.S. Citizen - this position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship
• Master's Degree or Juris Doctorate
• Experience with FAR and DFARs is strongly preferred
• Strong foundation in contracting knowledge, to include document drafting and negotiation skills, as well as management skills, an understanding of aerospace business and legal issues
• Good business judgment and project management skills in order to meet internal and external customer requirements
