Sales Development Representative

Consensus Cloud Solutions is a publicly traded digital cloud fax and healthcare interoperability solutions organization that uses HL7/FHIR, NLP, and AI to improve healthcare data exchange. The Sales Development Representative will prospect healthcare organizations, introduce AI solutions, generate qualified meetings, conduct discovery, manage CRM data, and collaborate with Account Executives to build the sales pipeline.

Responsibilities:

• Cold Outreach, primarily through calling, to new prospects to set and complete meetings with people who are directly involved in buying decisions or have significant influence
• Targeted Prospecting: Go beyond a list of contacts. You'll strategically identify and research key decision-makers within healthcare organizations, pinpointing their specific challenges with manual data processes to show them the clear value of our AI solution
• Proactive Pipeline Generation: Be a true hunter. You'll drive new business by initiating personalized cold calls, crafting compelling emails, and using social selling to engage prospects and generate high-quality meetings for the sales team
• In-Depth Discovery: Lead insightful conversations with prospects to uncover their business needs and pain points, determining how our AI solution can solve their specific problems
• Strategic Messaging: Develop and refine messaging that is tailored, compelling, and cuts through the noise to highlight our unique value proposition
• Data-Driven CRM Management: Maintain a clean and accurate record of all activities in our CRM (e.g., Salesforce), using the data to inform your strategy and ensure a seamless handover
• Collaborative Strategy: Work hand-in-hand with Account Executives to develop and execute account plans, ensuring a smooth transition for qualified leads
• Market Insight: Stay on top of industry trends, the competitive landscape, and new challenges in healthcare to continually refine your approach
• Professional Growth: Actively participate in ongoing training, coaching, and team discussions to sharpen your skills and contribute to our collective success

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in a B2B SaaS sales development, lead generation, or similar outbound prospecting role. (Experience in Healthcare is a plus)
• 1+ years of experience with sales enablement tools such as CRM (Salesforce preferred), LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Gong, etc
• Proven track record of consistently exceeding targets for qualified meetings, opportunities generated, or similar sales development KPIs
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You can articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely, and your emails are compelling
• Highly resourceful and tenacious. You don't give up easily and are skilled at finding creative ways to connect with hard-to-reach prospects
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and highly organized with a strong work ethic

• Ideally 1+ years in a similar role within Healthcare
• A strong understanding of sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Sandler, Challenger Sale) is a plus
• Demonstrable knowledge of healthcare IT systems, including Electronic Health Records (EHR), Practice Management Systems, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) software, telehealth platforms, health information exchanges (HIE), and data analytics platforms. Ability to discuss these technologies confidently with healthcare IT professionals and executives
• Experience working in SaaS, technology, or B2B industries is preferred
