IP Recruiter Group is recruiting for a highly regarded intellectual property group serving sophisticated high-tech clients. The Patent Agent or Patent Engineer will prepare and prosecute patents involving complex computer science and software technologies, interact directly with inventors and clients, and contribute in a collaborative, fully remote environment.

Responsibilities:

• The focus of the work will primarily relate to the preparation and prosecution of patents

Requirements:

• Likely a degree in computer science or computer engineering
• Other engineering discipline will be considered if you have an exceptional software and computer science background
• Must have excellent writing ability and be able to provide writing samples
• Must have strong interpersonal skills, as you will deal directly with inventors and clients
• USPTO license is not required, but certainly a desire to pass the USPTO exam and grow as a patent practitioner
