Senior Manager IT - Platform Product & Experience (Remote)

First Citizens Bank is a financial services company seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Product & Experience pillar of its Platform Engineering Hub. The role owns the strategy, roadmap, adoption, governance, and lifecycle management of the enterprise Internal Developer Platform, while driving developer experience, self-service capabilities, platform integrations, analytics, GitOps, Infrastructure as Code, and AI-enabled engineering initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Build and scale Internal Developer Platforms
• Established developer experience programs
• Create self-service engineering capabilities
• Integrate engineering ecosystems
• Applied product management disciplines to improve adoption, satisfaction, and productivity

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Applications development, analysis or engineering OR High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in Applications development, analysis or engineering
• 5+ years leading Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, Cloud or Infrastructure teams
• IDP strategy and adoption leadership
• budget and roadmap ownership
• IDP, Platform Engineering, DevEx, Service Catalogs, Golden Paths, GitOps, IaC, CI/CD, Platform Automation
• DevSecOps
• API-first Architecture
• Product Management
• Experience integrating developer platforms with source control, CI/CD, automation, cloud, security, observability, ITSM, and artifact management ecosystems
• Kubernetes, Cloud Platforms, Policy-as-Code, Platform Observability, Platform Analytics, AI-assisted Engineering
