Cognizant is seeking an experienced ADMS (Advanced Distribution Management System) Consultant with strong hands-on experience in GE ADMS / OMS implementations and utility distribution operations. The ideal candidate will support ADMS implementation, integration, testing, and go-live activities while working closely with utility business and technical teams.
Participate in ADMS implementation, configuration, testing, and deployment activities.
Work on GE ADMS / OMS applications, including outage management and distribution operations.
Collaborate with utility operations, engineering, and IT teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
Support system integration, interface validation, and data mapping activities.
Execute SIT, UAT, and go-live support, including defect triage and resolution.
Analyze ADMS application issues and provide functional and technical troubleshooting support.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams during implementation and production support activities.
Prepare functional documentation, test cases, and implementation deliverables.
Strong experience with GE ADMS / OMS.
Hands-on experience in ADMS implementation, configuration, testing, or production support.
Good understanding of electric utility distribution systems and outage management processes.
Experience with SCADA, DMS, OMS, GIS, or utility enterprise integrations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Prior experience in utility ADMS go-live or grid modernization projects.
Knowledge of utility operational workflows and distribution network management.
Experience working in Agile or enterprise implementation environments.
Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week.
Candidates must be willing to work onsite with client teams as required during project execution and go-live support.
Experience with utility data migration and integration projects.
Knowledge of GE Grid solutions and utility operational technologies.
