Market Development Manager

Taurus Endoscopy is an early-stage medical device company developing innovative technologies for interventional GI. The Market Development Manager will lead commercial marketing activities across the Eastern United States, supporting clinical training, physician and sales education, key opinion leader development, market intelligence, and product adoption. The role will also manage customer relationships and the full commercial process from prospecting through contract execution.

Responsibilities:

• Provide in-procedure clinical support and gather market intelligence and customer insights to impact commercial strategy
• Create digital campaigns, educational content, and marketing collateral
• Coordinate and represent Taurus at regional and national meetings, courses, and trade shows
• Build relationships with key gastroenterologists, surgeons, and clinical staff
• Drive commercial adoption of Taurus products across targeted U.S. sites
• Lead the full commercial process—from prospecting and product evaluations through VAC approvals and contract execution

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in medical device sales, market development, or marketing
• Experience in GI or flexible endoscopy is required
• Clinical confidence supporting endoscopic procedures and physician training
• Proven ability to develop new markets, close business, and grow strategic accounts
• Strong communication and presentation skills with a collaborative, self-starting mindset
• Ability to travel up to 70% throughout the U.S. (primarily East Coast)
• Startup experience is highly valued
